Momo Nepalese Kitchen

Truly a hidden gem. The momo’s are phenomenal. You can of course order out but if you do stop in the staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming. Fantastic all around.

Amazing food and service, we didn’t want too much spice in our food and they altered it accordingly. I ordered the c momo, it was delicious! Its a takeout restaurant but there are a few seats to dine in. Prices ade reasonable and I love that they had many vegetarian options. Complimentary tea is another great thing about this place, I will definitely order again. There is also a 15% discount if you order directly from the restaurant.

Outstanding food and service! I highly recommend the chicken momo and chicken chow mein! The staff were friendly and welcoming and even gave us delicious tea while we waited for the food. All the dishes were high quality, we’ll definitely be visiting here again!

We went to hike Arthur Hill and while coming back, we chose the quickest way to Princess Streat. At the Meadowbank House bus station, we have this little treasure. When you walk into this place, you feel welcome. You feel special. You feel good. The owner welcomes you with a smile and lovely food recommendation. Even offered us free tea to sip while the food was being prepared. Very generous. Scotland weather and tea are meant to be best friends. I've ordered their momos with hot sauce and a chicken chowmin. Both turned out great and I am feeling so good heading into the rain. Thank you for the great meal and hospitality!

This is one of the top restaurants in edinburgh to order from. I've never been in person, so I can't review the physical location. That said, the food and service are incredible every time. Loads of vegan options and staff that are super helpful over the phone. I've had all the momos in the city at this point, and these are my favourite. Also, the hot sauce is incredible (although very spicy). This is also the best biriyani I've ever had. Thanks Momo Nepalese Kitchen!

First time I tried the buttered chicken, it was good but too sweet for me (I’m from India though). Second time the chef made it to order, but less sweet, more spicy. And he delivered! The Buffalo momo “C Momo” style was absolutely delicious. Good amount of spicy wish I was staying in Edinburgh longer so I could try their other curries. They have a great curry meal deal.
